It does not take a lot to make me happy!
BUT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A SIMPLE SOUL Given to simple pleasures. It really does not take a lot to make me happy. Beautiful music does it. So does a good glass of Pinot Noir. Watching children play does, too. So does the sound of children learning. I just began my first teaching job. It is very short term, two weeks of summer school, but I am loving it. I am working with third and fourth graders that have special education needs. Damn, but it is a good thing, exhausting though.
Life with MM continues to be the great joy of my life. She is beautiful and I continue to be a lovesick fool.
My daughters are doing well. Summer is upon us and R is down from school, living in LA with her mother and sister. A is on break and will move on to eighth grade next year. Soon she will be in high-school. Damn, but she is growing up too fast.
There are several things that I need to think about and write out, but now is not the time. I do love my new DSL service. Imagine, being able to view a webpage the same day that you call it up! Fantastic!
